From Solo Backpacker to Family Traveler
TravelWizely began with a backpack and a map.
For years, I traveled solo — months and even years at a time — exploring the far corners of the world. I spent over a year and a half wandering through Australia and New Zealand, took long journeys across Mongolia, and explored Japan and Korea on slow, curious adventures that lasted from two weeks to a month.
Those were the years of pure discovery — sleeping in hostels, hitchhiking through deserts, learning how to travel light and live simply.
Later came a new chapter: traveling as a couple, and then as a family. Greece, France, and the Netherlands became our classrooms for learning how travel changes when kids join the journey.
We realized that while experience helps, practical family-travel knowledge is often hard to find — and that’s exactly why TravelWizely exists today.
